Our History

Since 1834, The Parish Church of St. Luke has been a place of worship for Anglicans in Halton County. Chief Joseph Brant gave the land for church use and his daughter, Elizabeth Kerr, supported the founding of St. Luke’s. The parish has continued this legacy of tradition while meeting the needs of the contemporary world.

What is the Anglican Church?

The Anglican Church of Canada is a member of the worldwide Anglican Communion, with 70 million members in 163 countries. We are a community of Christians bound together by our believe that Holy Scripture contains the very core of Christian faith.
